The Department received twenty direct responses to this consultation. Of these, nine were from National Governing Bodies of sport; five from charities with an interest in sport and leisure; one from an independent researcher; one from a serving senior police officer; one from a County Sport Partnership; two Local Authority based responses; and one response from a member of the public.
